Many of you will be taking time off over the upcoming holidays. This break provides an excellent opportunity for all IBM employees to conserve energy and reduce our operating costs. Significant energy conservation can be achieved by turning off non critical equipment, PCs, printers, displays, overhead and task lighting at the end of your last workday prior to leaving for the holidays.
These simple actions, when implemented across the entire company, will benefit the environment and reduce expenses. If you have any questions, please contact your location energy coordinator.
